Were Expanding
After five wonderful years at our Huntingtown location we have expanded to include the newest addition to the Michelangelo’s family—our brand new beauty salon in the Lusby Town Center. We’re excited to bring our talents to the southern end of Calvert County and we hope that the new location will give our current, as well as new, cliental added convenience. You will immediately feel welcome when you walk through our beauty salon doors as you are greeted with friendly faces. Angela - Owner / Stylist / Master Colorist
Annie - Master Colorist / Floor Manager
is celebrating 25 years as a stylist. She is a certified Master Colorist and enjoys doing hair for all ages. As she stays current on the latest cutting and coloring techniques, she will customize the perfect look to fit your lifestyle. Annie graduated from North Arundel Vo-Tech in 1985. She has since settled in at Michelangelo’s and considers it her second home.
Danny - Master Colorist / Stylist
with his cool approach to hairdressing, Danny combines classic beauty with the latest trends to create the ultimate style. He is a Master colorist certified with Schwarzkopf and has trained with some of the top stylist including Toni and Guy.
Emma - Stylist
Feel at ease as you slip into Emma’s chair. She will listen to what you want and transform you with her latest tricks by adding volume and texture. Emma graduated from the well known Graham Webb Academy in 2005. She continues her education in color by attending advanced classes through Schwarzkopf as well as regularly attends cutting classes to keep up to date with the latest trends.
Jessi Riley - Stylist
with her natural charm and energetic approach to hairdressing, Jessi is waiting to create that new vision for you or recreate a simple style with a cool edge. She has joined our team here at Michelangelo’s in 2009 and continues to amaze us. She is one of our product education consultants for our exclusive Eufora line and has taken advantage of our many education opportunities by attending classes taught by world renound artists such as Sam Villa and Nick Trojo. Jessi specializes in Brazilian Keratin Treatments and Updo styles.
Erika - Stylist
with her young and fresh take on hairdressing today, let Erika dazzle you with her up to date knowledge of both haircuts and products. She is one of our educators for our J. Beverly Hills product line. Erika has attended many classes under the direction of some of the top platform artist with Paul Mitchell. She specializes in cutting, texturizing and coloring.
Kathleen - Stylist
Kathleen has done it all. She started as a shampoo technician, then a stylist assistant, and now she is a stylist. She is now a stylist here at Michelangelo’s with an enthusiasm for hairdressing. She is ambitious to learn new ways to excite her clients. Kathleen graduated from Graham Webb Academy and had the privilege of doing some platform work for some of their hair shows.
Lizzy - Stylist
Lizzy is the previous owner of Salon Rouge as well as has over 10 years of experience working at top salons in the Washingtown area. As manager of Cristophe Salon in D.C., Lizzy organized hair shows and social events, and managed day by day salon operations. Also while at Cristophe Salon, Lizzy worked with Second Chance employment, an agency that helps abused and battered women reenter the work force with confidence. Prior to opening Salon Rouge, Lizzy worked at Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon as a stylist for 4 years. Throughout Lizzy's career she has styled hair for a number of runway fashion shows and photo shoots, as well as countless on location weddings for D.C. wedding planner Pineapple Products. Lizzy also provided hair styling services at the Hispanic Heritage Awards 3 years in a row. Lizzy specializes in curly, thick hair, and is well known for her blow drying technique. She is also a Certified Specialist for Great Length Hair Extensions.
Renee - Master Colorist / Stylist
With over 14 years of experience in the industry, Renee has a great passion for hair and making people look beautiful. Her continual education keeps her motivation strong and her techniques up to date. Her strong love for color and short styles is what she specializes in. In 2006 Renee received her Master Colorist Certification with Schwarzkopf. Since she came to Michelangelo’s 7 years ago, she has learned and experienced more than she ever thought was possible. She loves her Michelangelo’s family and feels truly blessed to be able to work with so many talented individuals. Renee is accommodating to her clients by working at both of our locations.
Sammi - Stylist
Sammi brings 3 years of experience with all hair types and styles including bridal work. Over the next year, Sammi will under-go intense training in cutting, color and styling/finishing techniques. Sammi is also very excited about upcoming classes that will allow her to be a specialist in men’s hair cutting as well as becoming a master colorist. We ask for your support with Sammi during her upcoming adventures. She is working in our Huntingtown location on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Book your appointment with her today.
Amber - Stylist
Amber has 4 years experience in the beauty industry and a passion for hair. She has continued her education through Graham Webb Academy. She also keeps up with all of the current styles, trends and techniques by attending classes. Her most recent class was with celebrity stylist Kim Vo. Amber specializes in the Brazilian Blowout and formal up-dos. She is also working towards her master colorist certification with Schwarzkopf. Amber is at our Huntingtown location Tuesday-Saturday.
